An editorial approach
to destination weddings
in Italy
I photograph destination weddings in Italy for couples who value discretion, trust and a non-directed photographic approach.
My work is not built around staging or performance, but around presence — allowing moments to unfold naturally and letting the story take shape without interference.
This is not photography designed to impress in the moment.
It is photography created to endure.
An approach shaped by presence
My approach is editorial in its essence, but never constructed.
I don’t direct emotions, I don’t orchestrate scenes and I don’t impose a narrative.
What I do instead is observe carefully, stay close without intruding, and work with time rather than against it.
Guidance is always present when needed, but never imposed.
The result is a visual story that feels honest, layered and quiet — one that reflects not only how the wedding looked, but how it felt.
Who this experience is for
This work is for couples who:
– trust their photographer rather than being guided frame by frame
– value atmosphere over spectacle
– prefer subtlety to excess
– want to fully live their wedding day, not perform it
If you are looking for a highly posed, directive or fast-paced photographic experience, this approach may not be the right fit — and that is perfectly fine.
Time as part of the process
I work with a limited number of weddings each year.
Time is an essential part of my process: time to observe, to understand the rhythm of the day, and to let images emerge naturally rather than forcing them.
The post-production process follows the same philosophy: careful, consistent and never rushed.
This choice allows me to dedicate the same level of care and attention to every story I take on.
Editorial recognition
Some of the weddings I have photographed have been featured on international editorial platforms such as Style Me Pretty, Loverly and Vogue Wedding.
These publications reflect an alignment in vision rather than an objective — the focus has always remained on the integrity of the story itself.
